Where we are
You will find us on Challis Avenue, Potts Point. Often described as the ‘Parisian’ end of this charming historical neighbourhood, the property is surrounded by cobbled streets lined with flowering Magnolia and Jacaranda trees.
Great for guests looking to stay close to the city, Kings Cross train station is less than 10 minutes walk away, with frequent trains to the CBD or Bondi Junction. Taxis are also easy to find on any of the main streets nearby.
Neighbouring Woolloomooloo, Rushcutters Bay, Elizabeth Bay and Darlinghurst can be reached on foot and are great for exploring. For the more adventurous, a 20 minute walk takes you to the Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens, from where you can head over to the famous Opera House and Circular Quay.
Or stay closer to home and discover Sydney’s former red-light district of Kings Cross, stretching along Darlinghurst Road and Victoria Street from the corner of Macleay Street to the Coca Cola Sign. You might even meet some friendly locals with tales to tell of the area’s famous, and sometimes shady, past.
We highly recommend Hotel Challis Potts Point as a brilliant location to stay in Sydney and look forward to meeting you soon!
